Cookies Policy

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites can store on your device to remember information between visits. Related browser storage technologies, such as local storage, work similarly but are technically distinct from cookies.
Do we use cookies
Simple Online Counter does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. The site uses browser local storage to remember your counters and preferences (such as dark or light mode) between visits. This storage is used only to make the tool work, is considered strictly necessary, and is not used to track you across other websites.
If advertising or analytics are added
If we introduce advertising (such as Google AdSense) or analytics tools in the future, those services may set their own cookies, for example to measure traffic or serve relevant ads. If that happens, this page will be updated, and a cookie consent option will be added for visitors in the European Union and United Kingdom, in line with GDPR and PECR requirements.
How to control storage
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's settings, which will remove your saved counters. Most browsers also let you block local storage entirely, though this will prevent Simple Online Counter from saving your counters between visits.
